Feel free to explore.
This website is a place were I come to share pieces of myself, through mediums such as texts, images, files, personal projects, and external links. It is just getting started and I am still young enough to be “reckless”, so I feel no need to outright censor myself.
My interests include music, analog technology, computers, philosophy of technology, systemic understanding, and theology (a fancy way to say I am a catholic).
Regarding music I would like to create my own songs as a hobby, and maybe further down the road they will pop up here, but for now some mixes I created some months ago can be found at:

Regarding computers I really enjoy programming. I'm currently switching to Linux, so there's that. I think computer systems have a level of complexity where I will not be able to learn everything ever, and developing software is something extremely powerful, where the work by a given individual/team can be exponential and have global impact. I didn't study Computer Science as a major, so I am learning a lot of the fundamental theory of computers in a non-institutionalized kind of way.
You can find some of my personal projects (for now the basics) at: https://github.com/carlosOrtizM
I haven't read much in depth regarding the fields that deal with philosophy of technology and cybernetics, so my perspective is a combination of snippets of writings, and personal experience. I look forward, however, to interacting with thinkers such as Deleuze, Stiegler, Heinz von Foester, Humberto Maturana, and Alfred North Whitehead.
I currently hold no social media accounts beyond the links here. Not a big fan of them.
